Adani Green appoints independent law firms to review US indictment

Jan 24 (Reuters) – India’s Adani Green said it has appointed independent law firms to review the U.S. indictment of founder Gautam Adani and top Adani Green executives for paying $265 million in bribes for power contracts. The appointment of the law firms was announced in a 33-page earnings regulatory filing made by Adani Green late on Thursday, where it did not disclose the names of the firms, but said it continued to assert the company’s compliance of applicable laws and regulations. NDTV loan case: Delhi court accepts CBI closure report

New Delhi, Jan 23 (PTI) A Delhi court on Thursday accepted a closure report filed by the CBI in an alleged case of irregularities by the ICICI Bank in accepting loan repayment from NDTV, saying “it appeared to be satisfactory”.
