Mumbai, May 6 (PTI) Benchmark Sensex rallied by 940 points on Wednesday following a sharp decline in crude oil prices after US President Donald Trump claimed progress in negotiations with Iran towards an agreement to end the war. Helped by fag-end heavy buying, the 30-share BSE Sensex jumped 940.73 points, or 1.22 per cent, to settle at 77,958.52. New Delhi, May 6 (PTI) Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday alleged that every sixth BJP MP in the Lok Sabha secured his or her seat through “vote chori” and asked if they should be labelled “ghuspethiya” in that party’s own parlance. Congress to support Vijay’s TVK for govt formation in Tamil Nadu: Sources

New Delhi, May 6 (PTI) The Tamil Nadu Congress has decided to support TVK leader Vijay in forming a secular government in the State, sources said. The decision to support the TVK was taken at an urgent meeting of the Political Affairs Committee (PAC) of Tamil Nadu Congress late on Tuesday night.
