New Delhi, Jul 13 (PTI) Gold prices declined Rs 1,500 to Rs 1.47 lakh per 10 grams in the national capital on Monday and silver slumped Rs 2,000 tracking West Asia uncertainties. The yellow metal of 99.9 per cent purity depreciated Rs 1,500 to Rs 1,47,000 per 10 grams (inclusive of all taxes) from Friday’s closing level of Rs 1,48,500 per 10 grams, according to local marketmen. Patna, Jul 13 (PTI) A court in Bihar’s Patna on Monday granted anticipatory bail to educator Faisal Khan, popularly known as Khan Sir, in connection with the coaching institute firing case. Three staff members of the coaching institute also got anticipatory bail, Khan Sir’s lawyer said. The case relates to a firing incident that occurred in early June after Khan Sir’s coaching institute was allegedly vandalised by a group of miscreants. Mumbai, Jul 13 (PTI) Benchmark indices Sensex and Nifty ended flat on Monday as a sharp rally in crude oil prices due to escalating tensions in West Asia weighed on overall investor sentiment. Resilience in IT and consumer durables stocks, however, helped offset the impact of geopolitical concerns, enabling the benchmark indices to recover from early losses and close on a largely flat note, an expert said.
