Odisha announces 2 pc hike in DA for govt employees, pensioners

Bhubaneswar, Apr 11 (PTI) Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday announced a two per cent hike in dearness allowance (DA) for state government employees and pensioners. With this hike, the ratio of DA for government employees and TI (temporary increase) for pensioners will rise from 53 per cent to 55 per cent, an official release issued by the CMO said. It said the hike will be implemented retrospectively from January 1, 2025. Employees will receive the increased DA as cash benefit along with their April salary. New Delhi, Apr 11 (PTI) Gold prices on Friday touched an all-time high of Rs 93,736 per 10 grams in futures trade in line with firm global trends. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the yellow metal contracts for June delivery hit a record high of Rs 93,736 per 10 grams in early trade. Equity mutual funds inflow drops 14 pc to Rs 25,082 cr in Mar

New Delhi, Apr 11 (PTI) Inflow of equity mutual funds (MFs) dropped 14 per cent to Rs 25,082 crore in March amid continued market volatility. This was the third consecutive month of decline in inflow in equity funds. The latest fund infusion by investors also marks the 49th consecutive month of net inflows into the segment. According to data released by Association of Mutual Funds in India (Amfi) on Friday, equity-oriented MFs saw an inflow of Rs 25,082 crore in March, way lower than Rs 29,303 crore in February, Rs 39,688 crore in January, and Rs 41,156 crore in December.
