Patna, January 26, 2024: Amid the hectic political developments in Bihar,, Nitish government has shiftedDMs of several districts, according to a notification issued by the state’s general administration department (GAD) and home department on Friday.
DM of capital Patna has been transferred. Shirhat Kapil Ashok has been posted as DM of Patna. At the same time, Subrata Kumar Sen has been posted DM of Muzaffarpur.
Whereas, the Chief Minister’s Secretary Mohd. Maqsood Alam, was transferred to the post of Collector and District Magistrate, Gopalganj till further orders and has been made the District Magistrate of Gopalganj District under Section 20 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act-2, 1974).
Chandrashekhar Singh, Collector and District Magistrate, Patna (Additional Charge-Settlement Officer, Patna) has been transferred and posted as Special Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat, Bihar, Patna, till further orders.
Chandrashekhar Singh till further orders will look after the charges of Chief Executive Officer, Bihar Rural Livelihood (Livelihood) Promotion Society cum State Mission Director, State Rural Livelihood cum Commissioner Self-Employment, Rural Development Department, Bihar, Patna / Managing Director, Bihar State Road Development Corporation, Patna as additional charges.
Rajinikanth, Chief General Manager, Bihar State Food and Civil Supplies Corporation, Patna, has been transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate, Lakhisarai district, till further orders, under Section 20 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (Act-2, 1974).
This notification will be effective from the afternoon of 31.01.2024.
Naval Kishore Chaudhary, Collector and District Officer, Gopalganj (Additional Charge-Settlement Officer, Gopalganj) has been transferred and posted as Collector and District Magistrate, Bhagalpur till further orders.
Similarly, a total of 48 officers have been shifted.
It is to inform that 30 IAS officers were also transferred on Tuesday, IN ThIS transfer list also included names of officers who have recently been promoted to IAS.
