Patna, Sept 22: In a major bureaucratic reshuffle, the Nitish Kumar government in Bihar on Thursday assigned new postings to senior Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers heading several departments in the state.
Dayanidhan Pandey, a 2006-batch IAS officer of Bihar cadre, has been made the Director of Consolidation, Revenue and Land Reforms Department from the post of Bhagalpur Commissioner.
According to a notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) of the state government, Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 2007-batch IAS officer posted on the post of Munger Commissioner.
Apart from his new assignment, Singh will also hold the additional charge of the of Commissioner of Bhagalpur Division, till further orders.
Deepak Anand, Additional Secretary, Art Culture Department, has been given the responsibility of the post of Director in the Consumer Protection, Food and Consumer Protection Department. Whereas, Anil Kumar Jha, Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department, has been made the Secretary of Revenue Board, Patna.
Sanjay Kumar, a 2017-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as the Commissioner of MNREGA, Rural Development Department of the state government.
Rubi, a 2017-batch IAS officer, has been appointed as Director of the Directorate of Cultural Affairs from the post of Joint Secretary of the Commercial Tax Department. She will also hold the additional charge of Joint Secretary, Art, Culture and Youth Department till further orders.
Sanjay Kumar Singh, a 2017-batch IAS officer, Joint Secretary, Agriculture Department, has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary, Building Construction Department.
Abhay Jha, a 2017-batch IAS officer, who has been transferred from the post of Joint Secretary of Cooperative Department, has been given the responsibility of Administrator of Bihar State Road Transport Corporation, Patna.
Ashima Jain, a 2008-batch IAS officer, Special Secretary, Minor Water Resources Department with additional charge of State Transport Commissioner/Administrator, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation, has been relieved from the charge of Administrator, Bihar State Road Transport Corporation.
Apart from this, Sunny Sinha of Indian Railway Service officer, has been transferred from the post of Special Secretary, Transport Department and posted as Director of Bihar State Text Book Publishing Corporation Limited, Patna.
