New Delhi, Sep 16: As we all know, IAS officer Tina Dabi is always in the news on social media. She gave birth to a lovely baby boy in a hospital in Jaipur on September 15, Friday.
Tina welcomed her first child with husband and fellow IAS officer Pradeep Gawande.
The couple met during the Covid-19 pandemic when they were tasked with ensuring supplies. They got married on April 22 last year.
Tina, the 2015 batch IAS topper of Rajasthan cadre, was last posted as District Magistrate in Jaisalmer. On July 14, she announced in an Instagram post that she was taking a break from work because of her pregnancy.
She sought a non-field posting in Jaipur because of her impending pregnancy earlier this year. In July, she bid adieu to Jaisalmer on her social media account.
She said goodbye to Jaisalmer in an Instagram post shared on July 14, writing: “Truly blessed to have got an opportunity to serve this wonderful district for one year as its District Collector and Magistrate.
Sharing glimpses of some cherished moments spent in the district.”.
She was earlier posted in Jaipur as the Joint Secretary of Finance (Tax) to the Rajasthan government.
Tina, an alumni of Delhi’s Lady Shri Ram College, came in the limelight after becoming the first Dalit to top the civil services exam. She achieved this feat in her first attempt.
Her first wedding with batchmate Athar Amir Khan was attended by several politicians as well. Later, she got divorced from Athar and got married to Pradeep Gawande, a 2013-batch IAS officer, hails from Maharashtra’s Latur. He completed his MBBS at Ghati Hospital in Aurangabad. He cleared UPSC in 2013 and is now an IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre.
