NEW DELHI, Sept 21 (Reuters) – India’s infrastructure output grew 4.8% year-on-year in August, in the third release under a revised series with 2022-23 as the base year, government data showed on Monday.
The new series replaced the 2011-12 base year in June and expanded the core sector basket to nine industries from eight, with the inclusion of iron ore.
Infrastructure output had grown a revised 5% in July from a year earlier, according to data released by the government.
